Sahitya- Padya is a classical Sanskrit literature that is mostly made up of metrical verses instead of prose. It is a well-established and standardised system that teaches about Dharma and how to feel about it. This course is the second of four courses in Sahitya that explains the basics of Sanskrit poetics. Prerequisites: To enroll in this course, one must have completed the last MA course in Sanskrit and must be currently enrolled in a master's programme in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is the language of instruction, and acceptance into MIT-program SVS's master's in Sanskrit is required .
